Land Snail or scientific name achatina fulica is now known as one of the worst invasive species in the world. The land snails have been kept as pets; however, they are illegal to possess in some countries including the United States. The snails are easy to keep and when bred in captivity is unlikely to carry parasites. The adult snails have a height of around 7 centimeters (2.8 in), and their length can reach 20 centimeters (7.9 in) or more.
