Bistro 42 @ Bangsar Village II

It was a great Sunday afternoon for us to be invited by M - to Bistro 42; the new place is located at BVII. Bistro 42 is owned by BIG Group – apart from Bistro 42, BIG Group owns T42 at Empire Subang, Plan B at BVII, Ben’s at BVI, Pavilion, KLCC and Tate. Bistro 42 is a quaint little dining place with weird seating arrangement inside and has a quasi al fresco area outside the restaurant. However, Bistro 42 does have pretty good food.

The restaurant presents an elegant space in which to enjoy hearty meals, premium tea blends and inspired evening cocktails accompanied by music played live on the baby grand piano.

Marmalade @ Bangsar Village II

It was a bright sunny day when we drove out to BVII for our business lunch appointment with Bank Rakyat. The lunch venue has been confirmed by my colleague – Marmalade at BVII. This is not my first visit to Marmalade and I can see they have changed a lot in terms of the overall interior - menu.

Marmalade opened 8 years ago at Desa Sri Hartamas - they have come a long way. And in 2007 they opened a new outlet at BVII, they keep its casual ambience and welcome environment just like the one at Desa Sri Hartamas – but is their food that keeps the customers returning. True to their original concept of a healthy lifestyle, Marmalade offers an inspiring menu of generous salads, from the popular Sounds of Havana to the creatively delicious Avocado Accents. For those with an appetite for the hearty, Marmalade has a selection of heavy meals including pies and lasagne.
