Lone Pine Hotel

Beginning of April: Penang was packed and damn hot, why? Because is the period of Ching Ming... No doubt I need a place to chill myself down. Without 2nd thoughts I joined my friends at their hotel on Batu Ferringhi, a boutique hotel which offers peace and serenity with beautiful beach. The hotel has been established since 1984 – the first hotel on Batu Ferringhi beaches “The Lone Pine”. In July 1998, Lone Pine Hotel was closed for renovation and refurbishment and reopened in March 1999. Its refurbishment was an exercise in old-fashioned subtlety - retains much of its old world charm, a wonderful hideaway to escape to from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The room is very exclusive with a outdoor bath area, built in shower, king size bed, private guest room and personal balcony bringing the refreshing sea breeze into the room plus boast panoramic view of the sea. Dining is not an issue as they offer all day dining at The Bungalow – a homely restaurant with picturesque views of the swimming pool and beach. Whether you prefer quiet or action, the Lone Pine provides the best of both worlds! Don’t believe – take a look at the pictures take during my visit... look out for more pictures in my next post.
