Acme Bar & Coffee @ Troika

It has been a while since my last article about something delicious; I assured this post will be a great one – with gorgeous pictures on a beautiful day all thanks to my new Panasonic Lumix LX5. Acme Bar & Coffee has been around for a while, better known as ABC among KL-ites. Its pretty hip these days, we love ABC on our first visit! The location is at The Troika – new condo development within the vicinity of KLCC. ABC seems to be more peaceful compare to Dua Residence hangout places... another new place for us to chill.

Below: the ABC interior.. Simple yet elegant

The ABC was pretty quiet when we visited, there were only us with quadruple amount of waiters & waitresses. The restaurant generally has very attentive workers, service is quick and food is good...Table set-up and simple menu...

Delicious corner - tempting, wait till the end of my food...
Cute coaster --
Iced Cappuccino... the rest is hot lemon tea, twin earl grey...

Sambal Hebi Aglio Olio - Asian fusion, delicious!!!
Asp & Duck Bacon.... looks good
Fish Curry Rice - Yummy!
Bounty Cake - End our temptation to have one slice...

Below: Playing UNO, the place is way too relax
Below: The way to restrooms... comes with Diptyque soap! awww NICE!

ABC an ideal spot for good, ol'e bonding sessions, no desserts menu, and the menu is right in front of you! Hehe. :) Bon appetite!

Old China Cafe @ Petaling St

This post is a rare occasion meet up between 4 of us... but all from different states and gather for a cosy night at one of the highly recommended cafe in town – Old China Cafe. The cafe has been around since the nineties, and the premise was once the old guild hall of the Selangor & Federal Territory Laundry Association. Many of the architectural details of the building have remained unchanged, even the interior doors still have wooden latches. Old China Café tries to maintain a semblance of the Chinese community’s old social life which will soon fade into history. Anyhow, the ambience in Old China Cafe is cosy and takes you away from the bustle of the city but the place is filled with so many authentically old things... enjoy the post and the food they served worth to give it a try! Bon Appetite!
